China Daily Media Group

China Daily, founded on June 1, 1981, is the national English-language newspaper and is targeted at Western mainstream society. Through 28 years, it has evolved into a multi-media group focusing on providing comprehensive information for readers through traditional and new media.

Launched in February, 2008, China Daily Mobile News is China’s first bilingual mobile news service, and has become the second largest official mobile news service in China. The Dongxiang Ethnic Minority Autonomous County is the only autonomous county for the Dongxiang ethnic minority. China Daily, a designated assisting unit for Dongxiang County since 1999, has built a poverty-alleviation team and office as part of its commitment to Dongxiang.
